Day 1: Sedona

Beautiful Sedona! Not only beautiful red rock formations and open valleys, Sedona is also known for its other-worldly magnetic fields and spiritual energy. An easy climb up to a power vortex location is Bell Rock. Parking is $5/day for any of the Red Rock Canyon sites (Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, etc.) and it’s a well marked hike to some great views.

Lodging in Sedona is pricey- the cheapest motel rate we could find was $200/night. But well worth it to be in the center of town, with lots of nice places to eat, shops to buy crystals/have your aura read at.

Stupa and Peace Park was interesting- tradition advises to walk around the Stupa 3x in a clockwise motion while repeating prayers in your head, in order to have them magnified out to the rest of the world.
