Verona, Italy and Venice, Italy
So finally have reliable wifi! Never too late I suppose- here is a recap of our Italian adventures. Ate so much pizza and pasta. Spent the majority of time in Verona, with a day trip to Venice. Verona was a great town to start in as our first city on our grand backpacking trip, as it was easy to navigate, had great food, and friendly locals.
Stopped to take a pic of pups posing for a photo shoot, and ended up finding Juliet’s Balcony
Apparently it’s good luck to touch her boob
One of the many large churches
Walked up over 600 steps to see this view!
Roman Arena- still used today, saw some graffiti in the bathroom that said 1D 4ever, so apparently One Direction has performed here?!
Piazza del Erbe
A man painting the Venice canals
A couple taking engagement shots with some pidgon friends
Murano- the glass blowing island
Burano- the colorful house island, also they sold a lot of lace and material here
